This program is open to all graduates of the Rainbow Kids Yoga 3-day Teacher Training, and graduates of the 280 hour Rainbow Kids Yoga Family and Community Yoga Teacher Training.
The Mentorship Program is designed to be completed within 6 months.

What is the Mentorship Program?

The Mentorship Program is a 300-hour distanced learning practicum that challenges you to:

1. Practice and embody the fundamental Rainbow Kids principles while gaining experience teaching and
    finding your own authentic style.

2. Set and manifest your intentions and goals.

3. Gain momentum in the direction that you want to go as a children’s and/or family yoga professional.

4. Study and explore key yoga concepts to support you in the areas of planning, teaching, classroom
    management and more!

The Mentorship program is a distanced learning practicum where you choose your start date and complete in your own community. You will have a mentor who will guide and support you through monthly skype calls AND you have the ongoing support of the rest of the mentorship family; people just like you who are working on the Mentorship program around the world!

How it works:

The mentorship program is made out of 6 modules of assignments, each designed to be completed within one month. Your Mentor will send you your first module when you begin the program, which you begin to work on immediately. Upon completion of a module, your mentor will review your work and release the next module to you. Each module has elements of the four main components of the program. These are:

1. Teaching
2. Research
3. Invention
4. Business

In the teaching section you will gain experience in creating and teaching kids and family classes for the different age groups. You will come out of this experience more inspired and capable of teaching a wide range of ages and needs.

In the research component you will learn more about the Yoga poses, their benefits, special needs in your class, and secrets for better teaching and business practices.

In the invention module we will lead you through a journey of discovering your own innovative Yoga, adding new surprises to this eternally evolving art!

You can’t be a teacher if you don’t have students, so in the business component you will discover and explore tools to develop and grow your business.

Rainbow Kids Yoga is a 500 Hour Registered Yoga School with *Yoga Australia ,a 200 Hour Registered Yoga School with the US Yoga Alliance and with the Yoga Alliance UK, as well as a Registered Yoga School for Children Yoga and Pregnancy Yoga with the Yoga Alliance UK

*This program qualifies to the Yoga Australia 500 Hour Yoga Teacher status, in combination with our 280 Hour Teacher Training and a short First Aid course.

It’s an intense program involving lots of hard work, but it will pay off as you gain the confidence, experience and practical tools necessary to make Kids Yoga your fun and enjoyable livelihood.

We believe that you learn best from your own experiences. Our 3 day and the 280 hour trainings are a place to re-discover and ignite your kid spirit, receive inspiration and learn many techniques but... the Rainbow Kids Yoga Mentorship Program is the real journey. In it, we will make you work hard to rediscover yourself and reveal your unique gifts and approach to sharing yoga with the world. You will have access to a lot of resources and our guidance along the way, but the final result will not be served to you on a silver platter, it will be your own achievement.

You will receive community support throughout the program via the Rainbow Kids Yoga Mentorship Facebook Portal. The portal is accessible only to mentees. The portal is where you can get all of your questions answered by us and by other senior Rainbow Kids Yoga teachers and connect to this growing community of RKY mentees. You will also receive a link to a private site full of resources available nowhere else.

During the mentorship program you will have the opportunity to Skype with your Mentor to get inspiration, resolve any issues, get your questions answered and discuss any concerns you might have about your teaching or business.

Upon completion of the program you’ll have the privilege of being listed on our website on the Local Communities section, with your full business description and a link to your website or schedule of your classes and events. You will also gain the right to use our name and logo while you teach.
Access to the Rainbow Kids Yoga mentorship portal, with its ever-growing resources, will stay available for your inspiration and continued study and support.
